On Thursday evening, FHS hosted The Workplace of the Future Symposium.
Our panel consisted of eight renowned individuals with wide ranging business experience. The chair, Jonathan Pfitzner, posed many challenging and thought provoking questions. Will artificial intelligence ever fully replace human roles in professional services firms? Regarding education, is the UK curriculum still fit for purpose? What essential competencies are required for future jobs? How will Brexit influence employment going forward? A lively discussion concluded that continuous innovation in the workplace requires an agile workforce, whose elite roles cannot solely be replaced by machines.
Many thanks to all our speakers who came in to take part in the debate.
