On Monday 28th January we welcomed Zoe Hughes, Curator of Fossil Invertebrates at the Natural History Museum, who was our keynote speaker at this week’s Women of Influence talk.
Zoe began the assembly by explaining how she came to work in her current field, namely her education and life-long passion for paleontology. She talked enthusiastically about her responsibilities within the Natural History Museum, namely the care of the fossil Cephalopod and Brachiopod collections and her fieldwork in the UK, Morocco and China. Following the assembly, our Sixth-form biologists were fortunate to have an extended lesson with Zoe, where she talked in depth about her research and answered our burning questions.
