It was time once again to partner with our friends at Harrow School for a spectacular evening of jazz, soul and swing at our annual Sing & Swing Concert, held at St Cyprian’s Church.
With beautifully dressed round tables, atmospheric lighting and performers moving through the space, the church was transformed into a vibrant jazz club for the evening, creating a truly immersive experience that captivated the audience from beginning to end.
The concert opened in style with the Francis Holland Regent’s Park Wind Ensemble and Harrow Big Band performing One Shot from Hamilton, setting the tone for an evening packed with energy and musical flair. Audiences were treated to a wonderful array of solos, duets and trios from pupils of all ages, with standout performances including Killing Me Softly, Be My Baby and Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. Harrow Big Band delighted with classics such as Feeling Good and Tuxedo Junction, before the evening culminated in a joyful, collective rendition of All You Need Is Love, featuring all performers.
As our Sixth Form compères reflected, the evening perfectly embodied the spirit of collaboration, creativity and community that sits at the heart of life at Francis Holland Regent’s Park.
Huge congratulations to all our talented performers, and sincere thanks to Harrow School Big Band for joining us once again. A truly memorable evening and we are already looking forward to the next joint concert in March at Harrow School!
