Last week’s Summer Concert was a wonderful celebration of the diversity and vibrancy of music at Francis Holland Regent’s Park.
Held in the beautiful setting of St Cyprian’s Church, the evening brought together performers from Year 7 all the way through to Year 13 in a fitting showcase of musical talent, ranging from flute and voice to cello and guitar.
One particularly special moment was hearing a performance from one of our Organ Scholars, another of whom has also recently achieved Grade 6. Opportunities such as our Organ Scholarship exemplify the importance we place on enrichment beyond the classroom, enabling pupils to explore new passions, develop confidence and pursue excellence in areas outside their core studies.
The concert also served as a poignant farewell to our Year 13 musicians as they prepare to leave us for the next stage of their journeys. Seeing pupils of all ages perform together so confidently and support one another so warmly was a powerful reminder of the spirit of our school community.
Thank you to our Music Department, performers, accompanists, families and staff for making it such a memorable evening.
