On the last day of the Autumn Term, 24 pupils from Francis Holland Regent’s Park travelled to Pas de la Casa, Andorra to compete in the Independent Secondary Schools Ski Championships. This competition brings together independent schools from across the UK, and Francis Holland Regent’s Park has a proud tradition of participating each year.
Pupils represented the school across Slalom and Giant Slalom events, as well as in the highly competitive relay race. Alongside the championships, pupils also enjoyed three days of skiing with expert instructors, making the most of the extensive, world-class slopes of the Pyrenees.
Our team delivered an outstanding performance, securing the top prize overall for girls schools! Individual successes were equally impressive, with Francis Holland Regent’s Park pupils claiming all of the top five places in the Under 14 category, alongside third, fourth and fifth place finishes in the Under 16 event.
Congratulations to all involved on a superb achievement!
