Our annual ski trip never disappoints, with this year’s adventurers travelling to Geilo, Norway! From the moment the group arrived, excitement filled the mountain air as beginners nervously clipped into their skis for the first time while more experienced pupils eagerly headed for the higher slopes. The ski instructors were patient and encouraging, helping even the most hesitant learners gain confidence, and by the second day, many who had struggled at first were gliding down gentle runs with huge smiles on their faces!
Beyond skiing, the trip featured a range of activities such as snowshoeing, bowling and tobogganing – even some fierce snowball fights! – followed by much needed hot chocolates. The breath-taking scenery, bright white slopes under clear blue skies, made every moment feel special. Even small challenges, like early wake-up calls or the occasional tumble on the slopes, became part of the shared experience. By the end of the trip, friendships had deepened, new skills had been learned, and a sense of accomplishment was palpable. The ski trip was an opportunity for personal growth and teamwork, leaving lasting memories that pupils would carry with them long after the snow had melted.
