Caterina Cedolini is a volunteer with Animal Aid – her presentation explored our relationship with other (non-human) animals.

Caterina is a student at King’s College London, studying Law with Politics and Philosophy; she is passionate about animal welfare. She challenged the Sixth Form to think about our relationship with animals and our attitudes towards them in different contexts. She presented evidence-based information about the impact of the meat industry on the environment and on health, encouraging questioning of the effects of marketing and tradition on our thinking and reflection on what we eat. The Sixth Form asked insightful questions to which Caterina gave thoughtful responses – particularly impressive given that she is still only 18! This was an engaging and thought-provoking talk, thank you Caterina.
