Our Year 10 pupils recently spent the day at Linhope House, our dedicated Sixth Form Centre, for their Sixth Form in Action Day, an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the opportunities, independence and support that await them as they progress through the school.
After enjoying a delicious lunch over in Linhope House, pupils heard from Mr Gridelli, our Head of Sixth Form, about the distinctive Francis Holland Regent’s Park experience, including personalised teaching, expert higher education guidance and the leadership opportunities that help prepare our students for life beyond school.
They then chatted to current Lower Sixth students about the transition from GCSEs to A Levels, before hearing from alumnae about the support they received to help them navigate their university applications and prepare for their futures.
Experiences such as these help to demystify the transition to Sixth Form and give pupils the confidence to think ambitiously about their future pathways.
Thanks again to our wonderful alumnae for giving up precious time to revisit us and share such fantastic advice!
