The mini marathon was an amazing event this year. We had a record amount of girls taking part, the spirit of the event was unforgettable and all the girls started the race with big smiles on their faces.
We had lots of Sixth Formers placed around the course cheering on the runners. All the girls crossed the finish line red in the face but having displayed huge amounts of perseverance and spirit. It was a thrilling afternoon seeing how many of our FHS girls were so determined to win those house points and finish the race alongside their year group and the other year groups.
Seeing girls of all ages crossing the finish line together created a massive sense of unity and compassion. It was a very memorable and fun afternoon for us all and we can’t wait for next year!
