FHRP Futures Fair 2025

23/01/2025
Four students sit and talk in a classroom near lockers; two hold papers and wear red uniforms, facing another student in a black jacket.

Held every two years, the FHRP Futures Fair is open to our Upper Fifth and Sixth Form pupils, and brings together professionals from diverse industries—banking, finance, television, and more—to share their insights, advice, and expertise.

The evening aims to inspire, broaden horizons, and help our pupils make informed decisions about their A Level choices, degrees, and future career paths. The girls are encouraged to engage with representatives from a wide range of careers, including fields they may not have previously considered, to explore the wealth of opportunities available to them.

This year’s keynote speaker, Mrs Maja Trninic, is a senior technical leader with 25 years’ experience in some of the world’s leading technology organisations. Maja opened up the evening by signposting her career journey and explaining why she chose that particular career path, before sharing her tips and tricks for starting a career in such an evolving, fast paced industry!

The Futures Fair complements our year-round events, such as career talks, work experience placements, and interview preparation sessions. In today’s competitive job market, building CVs through work experience, internships, and volunteering is essential. This event serves as an excellent starting point for our pupils to take those first steps.

We are grateful to our parent body, alumnae, teacher networks, keynote and guest speakers for their invaluable support.
