On Wednesday, the whole Francis Holland Regent’s Park community gathered in St. Marylebone Parish Church for our spectacular annual Christmas Carol Service, before congregating back in the School Hall for some mince pies and mulled wine!
As usual – led by our wonderful Director of Music, Ms Murphy – the service featured joyful musical performances by our Junior and Senior Choirs, Chamber Choirs and Senior Strings group. Festive musical pieces included O Come Emmanuel, Midwinter Snow, as well as some festive favourites such as Hark the Herald Angels and O Little Town of Bethlehem – all of which were performed with to an impressive standard!
We also enjoyed poignant readings of all nine lessons by pupils from each year group, our Head and Head Girl.
Thank you to all who attended and made the afternoon such a magical celebration of Christmas, worthy of its stunning venue, and to those who donated to @centrepointuk in our retiring collection.
Wishing our entire school community a happy and restful Christmas break!
