As part of our Women in Tech series, we were delighted to welcome Karoline Lende, Senior Software Engineer at Multiverse, to speak to pupils about her fascinating career journey in the tech world!
After studying Engineering at Imperial College London, Karoline began her career as a civil engineer, using imaging software and AI to predict and plan vital infrastructure such as flood defences. She later transitioned into software engineering, applying her technical expertise at Multiverse – an upskilling platform focused on AI and technology adoption.
A mum of one (with another on the way!), Karoline spoke candidly about navigating career transitions and balancing personal and professional growth. She encouraged pupils to stay curious, embrace new technologies, and never be afraid to try something new.
