PARTNERSHIPS & OUTREACH

Community
Six schoolgirls in red jumpers and grey skirts stand together and smile outdoors on a grassy field with trees in the background.

We are proud to work in close partnership with local state schools through a wide range of initiatives. Each year, every department in our school is encouraged to run a dedicated partnership programme, reflecting our commitment to sharing expertise and resources with the wider community.

PERFECT SYNERGY.

These collaborations include sharing teaching staff and facilities, organising joint projects, hosting mock Oxbridge interviews, coordinating volunteering schemes, and fundraising for our charity partners. Staff and pupils alike work hard to ensure our partnerships are meaningful, impactful, and far-reaching.

One of our longest-standing partnerships is with St Marylebone CE School. In addition to providing Physics tuition and Oxbridge mentoring, our teachers offer Latin lessons to girls in Years 8–11. We also host an annual Classics Symposium, welcoming over 100 students from across London and the South East for a day of interactive lectures delivered by leading Oxbridge academics.

Our Modern Foreign Languages department runs subject-specific study days, including our annual German Day, attended by more than 150 pupils from partner schools in London and Bristol. We also host an annual Physics Symposium for students from local schools.

Five students sit at a table discussing documents; a laptop, papers, and a water bottle are on the table, and a presentation is displayed on a screen behind them.

SHARED VISION.

In collaboration with St Marylebone CE School, we participate in the RIBA Architectural Programme, offering a series of workshops led by prominent industry professionals.

Our Lower Sixth Sports Leaders regularly visit a local primary school to coach gymnastics to Year 3 pupils. During the Easter holidays, the Economics department organises an A Level study day, inviting students from schools across the country to take part.

We also enjoy longstanding relationships with Swiss Cottage School and St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School at which a number of Lower Sixth students volunteer regularly. Pupils from St Vincent’s attend our theatre productions, and we work together on STEM initiatives, such as our student-led Rockets and Robots workshop, hosted on their site.

Together, these initiatives reflect our deep-rooted commitment to educational partnership, community engagement, and widening access for all.
