Francis Holland Regent’s Park is proud to support a range of local and national charities, alongside meaningful partnerships with London schools and the Rainbow Centre in Sri Lanka.

GIVING BACK.

Charity fundraising is a vibrant part of school life, with pupils actively encouraged to give their time and energy to support important causes.

Central to this is the Help Fund, a pupil-led initiative involving pupils across all year groups. The elected President of the Help Fund, a Sixth Former, leads the club, generating ideas and coordinating efforts with charity reps in each form.

A highlight of the charitable calendar is the annual Sponsored Walk in Regent’s Park, where pupils and (canine companions!), dressed in themed fancy dress, complete as many laps as possible. With prizes for the best costume—and even the best dressed dog—the whole school community gets involved. Our most recent walk raised over £30,000 for the Help Fund’s chosen charity – Rainbow Centre in Sri Lanka – which was founded by a former Francis Holland Regent’s Park parent and provides care and education to children living in extreme poverty.

Two people sit closely together at a table with a red and white checked tablecloth. One wears a green jumper, the other a Father Christmas hat. There are books and a potted plant on the table.

Other popular fundraising events include:

House Charity Fairs, Pre-Loved Clothes Sales, Charity Discos, Lip Sync Battles, Dance-Offs, Themed Quizzes, and Non-Uniform Days.

We are also deeply committed to our longstanding relationship with the Rainbow Centre in Sri Lanka, which supports vulnerable children with nutritious food, education, welfare, and medical care.
