The Music department caters for pupils throughout school, from the first to the final year. Over 60% of the school has instrumental / singing lessons in school. For the first three years, these are timetabled on a rotation basis. Several pupils attend Saturday music school at the Royal Academy, the Royal College, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama or Trinity College.
In 2009 three girls were awarded choral scholarships at Queen's College, Oxford and at Jesus College and Homerton College, Cambridge. Former pupils are a third year organ scholar at Peterhouse and a choral scholar at St Catherine's College, Cambridge.
