The Sixth Form Entrance Examination is on Tuesday 9th November and starts at 9.00 am. The Scholarship Examination is in the afternoon of 9th November. Please make sure you have registered by Friday 5th November, 2010.

Please contact the school office to arrange a tour of  the school and a meeting with  the Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Helen Forbes. 16+ applicants are interviewed and sit tests in their proposed A level subjects in the Autumn Term. External applicants are warmly encouraged to apply for our Academic Sixth Form scholarship.

External applicants may also compete for our 16+ Music scholarship awards. Auditions are held in November and applications should be received by October.

Applicants for Art also have an opportunity to submit a portfolio of their work and to discuss it with the Head of Art.

We always request a reference from the Head of an applicant's current school. Offers will usually be conditional on the achievement of A or A* grades in specified GCSE subjects. Please see our Sixth Form Prospectus for further details.

It is sometimes possible for 16+ applicants to take entrance examination papers at other stages in the year.
